Paper prototype

What did I learn from creating a game with paper and a pencil ? I learned how to draw better , new ideas m & interesting facts about cheetahs .

What was easy about drawing your hidden object game ? What was hard ? Some of the drawings were easy & looking for things to hide was hard .

Frankenstorm 2012

  2. If you were to make a hidden object game about Frankenstorm, what would be the setting of your game scene be? I would hide all the safety equipment & needs & they would have to find them to survive.
  3. What 10 objects would you hide? I would use a flashlight, food, water, blankets, toilet paper, clothes, phone, solar charger, radio, batteries.
  4. What kind of information would your player learn from playing the game? How to be prepared for hurricanes.

Make Paper Prototype Part 1

My prototype is good , I guess . It's about cheetahs . They are hiding . Your supposed to find them & weapons . This is the description I wrote . " When you click on the cheetahs , the cheetah go into a new area . I guess after this level we'll show you where they are . You also gotta pick up the bad things .

Single Story

What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community? Have an opinion about something but dont know the whole story . Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community? My uncle would say that Caucasian Americans owed the African , Mexican and Hispanic Americans . I thought that too at first but my grandpa gave me some some wise thoughts . He said " Nobody owes us . If you want something , you go out there & get it . You dont have to depend on anyone else . " He can take some time out & think about stuff because he was given the same tools in life just like everyone else . Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you find out more about that community? I really never heard or remembered a single story about another community . How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community? It could ask them questions about stuff .

New Year

My idea in this years Globaloria class is to make an amazing game . Also I want to make a game with a gruop this time . I also want to make a game & win the Globey Awards because I been in The Globeys every year & one 2nd place each time so I would want to win first place . My team now is planning on making a game about endangered species & use hidden objects to hide them . Im excited about making the game successfully & how I am envisioning it now . Im scared that the game will turn out bad or not win at all .

What's excites me about my vision is that it should be very creative . I think I could make it very interesting & very addictive . I want the players to want to find the animals & poachers . I also want them to learn about it while they're playing . I'm very excited about the thought of making it & doing it !

I like it because it will help my topic out . I wanna hide the poachers & the animals & seperate them . I will hide the animals & the player will have to find them & send them to freedom . Then I'll hide the poachers & the players will have to find them & send them to prison .

Dirty Rivers

Ideas that came to me when I was playing these games was adding clues for the people to find the hidden objects , I didnt like that though . The game that I liked was the best of all the games because i actually learned something from the game . It was also hard but the clues helped me out in finding the missing wonders of the world . If i was to make a hidden game I would have them find clues and then let them find the final thing .

What did you think about the article? I thought it was cool that the article took interest in us and it showed who won, and the games that was nominated.


How did it make you feel to read about your school and Globaloria, a program that you participate in? I thought it was cool that we finally got some interest from people other than the people at our school.


If your game was not featured in the article, what would you like for the author to have said about your game? My game was not in the article, but I was in the Globey"s. It made me have pride in myself, not only that I was in it this time, but three times in a row.

Respect

Respect is a lot of things. Respect is, or can be, when somebody can trust you. It could mean somebody praises you. Respect looks like you doing something positive, but could look like some thing negative. For example, a man with a high stature could be respected. Also, a man who is known for doing terrible things could have respect from some people. In the classroom, everybody has respect for the teacher, In the computer lab, we have respect of the property. In the hallways, we have respect for our surroundings, if we see trash, we'll pick it up. During breakfast, we pick up all the trash and take our trash to the trash can.

Michael Moore Asked The CEO Of Nike To Go To Indonesia On A Free Plane Ticket And He Refused To. He Also Asked Him If He Could Donate Money To Schools And He Said No. He Had To Make An Offer Of $10,000 Dollars To The CEO To Make Him Donate.
