Now Imagine Your Game!

WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) I am making this game for 5-18 years, real good reflexes, and great common sense.

WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)My game will teach people to be better informed with sports information.

WHERE does your game happen? On a football field.

Describe the world you will design for your game. It will have a lot of sport teams and have sports equipment everywhere. Also there will be hospital equipment too.

How will this setting add to the learning experience? Teach people that sports do have injuries and that they are very serious.

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? Show them how to be safe while playing sports and have fun by doing it.

What happens in the world that helps the player learn? It will have real-life stories about kids who got sports injuries.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? They would play it again and they could get better each time.

WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? Because they can see a visual and interact better.

March Of The Penguins

Emperor Penguins of Antarctica

What challenges do the penguins have to overcome?
Having to wait for a long period of time and haven't ate.

How does their habitat challenge their livelihood each day?
The cold air makes the penguins huddle up so all they to do is be together and they have to stay and watch the egg without food.
What types of adaptations do penguins need in order to survive brutal winters as well as predators?
Their feet are thick and have claws to grip the ice.
Why is there a period of time in which there is practically no sunlight? What affect can no sunlight have on this region of Antarctica?
They're at the bottom of the Earth so the sun takes a long time to come back.
How could climate change negatively impact the mating ritual of the Emperor Penguin?
They would have to find more land and the penguins will die.
